Let’s Talk Mental Health is a partnership between Mind in West Essex and The Ideas Hub Chelmsford.
This space is where people can both share their experiences and get involved with engagement opportunities around mental health and well-being.
We record a twice-monthly podcast focusing on specific areas of mental health and well-being. The format features our host, Mike Ellen, who is the Uttlesford team manager for the Children’s & Young Peoples Mental Health Support Team and one of Mind in West Essex’s MHFA (Mental Health First Aid) Trainers for Adult & Youth.
Each podcast brings together Mike and 2 or more guests to explore that week’s given topic. Our aim is to use these podcasts to educate and empower listeners while also providing a platform to challenge the stigmas that may exist around mental health topics in general.
